CalCom Software Solutions Joins System Center Alliance

Israel April 7, 2014, CalCom, a provider of compliance and data governance solutions announced today that it has joined the Microsoft System Center Alliance to support interoperability with System Center 2012  Operations Manager. The strategic relationship will enable customers to manage all issues of configuration hardening, enforcement of security policies, audit and compliance within System Center 2012 .

“CalCom’s integration with System Center 2012  Operations Manager is designed to help customers increase infrastructure security and simplify the work associated with configuration hardening. CalCom’s CHS ensures that servers – whether in a customer’s datacenter or in the cloud – are continuously enforced with the right organizational security policy.” – Brian Hillger, Director, Windows Server and Management Product Marketing, Microsoft

CalCom CHS management pack integrates with System Center 2012 R2 Operations Manager to provide real time server hardening. CHS ensures an intelligent lock down of both OS and application layers. The solution uniquely eliminates any need of security policies laboratory testing, to provide a constantly hardened infrastructure while maintaining server availability. In addition all user activity is monitored, this is to ensure that all potential errors or malicious insider activity are intercepted and blocked. CHS provides a management platform for server hardening, auditing and compliance over hybrid cloud and data center infrastructures.

“CalCom is thrilled to be part of the System Center Alliance” said Jerry Ludmir CEO and founder of CalCom. “The solutions and expertise we have developed provide our customers great value. Managing security configurations is a big concern for IT executives in this era of migration to cloud resources. CalCom’s ability to manage server security configurations in fast changing production environments makes the difference for our customers. System Center 2012 R2 Operations Manager provided a variety of opportunities to expand CHS offerings. We are looking forward to deliver the CHS capabilities to System Center Operations Manager users.”
